You’ll find links to the Ordnance Survey (OS) map routes, which include GPX links that are handy for use on other apps such as Footpath or Strava. Wareham - Two Rivers Meet walk
The Two Rivers Meet walk is perfect for a Sunday afternoon stroll. It’s completely flat, easy to navigate and includes fabulous views of the river and water meadows. I love his route in the autumn or winter, when the reeds are less overgrown and you have a better view of the river.

Durdle Door to Ringstead on the Jurassic Coast
A longer route than most on Isle Walk Purbeck but a unique route encompassing the world famous arch at Durdle Door and the spectacular chalk cliffs towards Ringstead Bay.
My Isle of Purbeck - A guest walk to Seacombe and Winspit
Join Ben Rochelle as he reflects on his Purbeck childhood and guides you on a walk to Seacombe and Winspit, two of the most beautiful valleys on the Isle of Purbeck. Enjoy the birdsong of the valley and the rocky coastal features of the coves. This walk has the perfect ending - an afternoon tea at Worth Tea and Supper Rooms and/or a pint and Pasty at the Square and Compass pub.
Kimmeridge Bay and Houns Tout from Swyre Head
Coastal and rugged, this challenging walk from Swyre Head to Kimmeridge and back along the cliff path to Houns Tout is breathtaking and brilliant. Enjoy the panoramic views towards the Isle of Portland and stop off at the delightful Clavell's Cafe in Kimmeridge, before heading back along the coast path and the steep ascent of Houns Tout.
The Agglestone to Greenland Farm
The Agglestone appears from nowhere in this sandy heathland close to Studland Bay. This walk is a gentle stroll through the gorse and heather to explore this dramatic sandstone rock and enjoy the distant views towards Poole Harbour and the sea.
St Aldhelm’s Chapel, Winspit and Worth
Isle Walk Purbeck presents - a walk to one of the oldest chapels in the country, St Aldhelm's, via Winspit and Worth Tea and Supper rooms.
Multiple Farm Walk

Dancing Ledge from Spyway
A short, beautiful, and in places steep, route to one of Purbeck's most famous coastal landmarks - Dancing Ledge.
Swanage to Old Harry Rocks
Old Harry Rocks are iconic and symbolic of the Isle of Purbeck - impressive sea stacks and stumps that stand tall at the gateway to the Jurassic Coast. This walk takes you from Swanage to Studland across Ballard Down, from where you will have panoramic views to Swanage Bay and Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island. The Isle of Wight also makes an appearance in the distance!
New Barn Farm Loop
New Barn Farm is very close to where we live and one of Mr Shadow’s favourite places. We used to visit our dear old friend Jack here, who taught us all about the fields that framed our home. This short walk is a lovely peaceful loop with lots of beautiful views to appreciate.
Chapman’s Pool from Worth Matravers
The walk to Chapman’s Pool provides the ‘wow’ factor. As soon as you climb over the first stile you are hit by the stunning view. This is the perfect Sunday afternoon stroll – work off lunch, take in the breath-taking landscape, end the day at the Square and Compass pub, in the nearby village of Worth Matravers.
Bramble Bush Bay and Studland walk
A coastal walk along the golden sands of Studland Bay and onwards to the inner reaches of Poole Harbour, returning via the sand dunes.
Nine Barrow Down Walk from Swanage
A stunning walk including views across Purbeck and to Poole Harbour, plus an opportunity to explore the Bronze Age barrows that give this hill its name
